UNIC OTT Announces Global Web3-Powered Short-Drama Platform for January 2027 Launch

Seoul [South Korea], August 29: U&I Happy Friends today announced the upcoming launch of UNIC OTT, a mobile-first short drama streaming platform designed to combine vertical short-form entertainment with a broader Web3-enabled digital ecosystem.

UNIC OTT is targeting an official launch on January 1, 2027, with a planned initial content offering of approximately 1,000 short-drama titles. The platform is being developed with a global audience in mind, with multilingual content and subtitle support planned across Korean, Japanese, Chinese, English, Hindi and additional languages as the platform expands.
The platform is being positioned as more than a conventional micro-drama platform, combining mobile entertainment with creator participation and selected blockchain-enabled services through the wider UNIC ecosystem.
