Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin pushed back on claims that long-term advances in security technology and artificial intelligence could break Bitcoin’s security system and send the price down more than 50%. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs logged a third straight week of net inflows, while spot Ethereum ETFs extended their own inflow streak to three weeks, a sign of recovering institutional demand, according to The Block. South Korean exchange Upbit announced it will temporarily suspend SOPH deposits and withdrawals at 2:00 a.m. UTC on Sept. 8 as Sophon shifts to the Ethereum network.
