Decentralized exchange volume on Robinhood Chain reached $1.33 billion over the past 24 hours, surpassing Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base.
BlockBeats reported on Aug. 31, citing DefiLlama data, that Robinhood Chain recorded about $1.33 billion in 24-hour DEX volume. The chain set a record high for a fourth straight day. Seven-day volume reached about $6.16 billion, up 79% from a week earlier.
Over the same period, DEX volume on the Ethereum mainnet totaled $993 million, compared with $962 million on BNB Chain and $881 million on Base. Among major networks, only Solana posted a higher figure than Robinhood Chain, at about $1.86 billion.
Robinhood Chain’s total value locked in DeFi stood at about $725 million, yet its trading volume remained comparatively high. As memecoin trading accelerated, 24-hour network fees rose to about $1.07 million. That was roughly equal to the combined network fees generated by Ethereum and Solana over the same period.
DefiLlama data also showed the network’s own revenue at about $963,000 over 24 hours. That exceeded Ethereum’s $70,000, Solana’s $84,000, BNB Chain’s $44,000 and Base’s $93,000 by a wide margin.
That does not mean the broader Robinhood ecosystem generated more revenue than Ethereum or Solana. The figures reflect revenue generated at the blockchain network level, not application revenue. The jump appears to have been driven by a recent surge in memecoin trading and the structure of transaction-processing fees.
