Vitalik unveils privacy-focused AI agent system

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has unveiled a privacy-focused AI agent system that combines a zero-knowledge-proof-based API called zkAPI, the Tor network and local large language models, or LLMs. The system assigns a separate Tor circuit to each conversation, protects payment data through zkAPI and uses the Qwen model to rewrite prompts on users’ devices. Buterin said the system is entering a practical stage, although it still faces significant delays when starting new conversations and Tor remains vulnerable to traffic time-correlation attacks.
