Tesla and SpaceX would hold more than 30,000 BTC if they merge, with combined Bitcoin holdings totaling 30,221 BTC worth about $2.5 billion, according to Decrypt.
Elon Musk recently said a special committee had been formed to review a potential merger between SpaceX and Tesla. Tesla and SpaceX currently hold 11,509 BTC and 18,712 BTC, respectively, Decrypt reported. Neither company has said it plans to increase or sell its Bitcoin holdings, and the merger remains in the early evaluation stage.
