Charles Schwab, in a research report released today, identified Avalanche (AVAX) as a leader in real-world assets and institutional use cases. The firm cited Avalanche’s support for deploying customized Layer 1 blockchains for institutions and its ability to enable high-utility financial activity as key reasons for the assessment.
As of mid-October 2026, the Avalanche network was hosting 1,255 tokenized RWAs worth more than $13 billion, including about $484 million in assets from BlackRock’s BUIDL fund. Separately, Charles Schwab unit Schwab Crypto plans to add AVAX trading by the end of 2026 and has previously said it would support AVAX trading in the future.
