Bitcoin short-term holders moved a large amount of loss-making supply to exchanges after the U.S. Senate rejected a cloture vote on the Clarity Act, on-chain analyst Darkfost said in an analysis on X. Darkfost said exchange inflows from short-term holders rose from 19,400 BTC to 33,100 BTC, with 23,200 BTC of that total transferred to exchanges at a loss, the largest such volume in the past month. More than 10,000 BTC flowed into Binance, while inflows to Kraken climbed to more than 6,000 BTC from the usual 2,000 BTC to 3,000 BTC range. By contrast, inflows to Coinbase Advanced, where institutional trading accounts for a relatively large share, were 7,300 BTC, in line with typical levels.
