Ether, XRP and solana funds all posted outflows, while HYPE ETFs were flat for the session.

    Key Takeaways

    • Bitcoin ETFs drew $101.15M, led by Blackrock IBIT’s $115.45M inflow.
    • Ether’s 12-day inflow streak ended as XRP and solana ETFs also turned negative.
    • Next, traders will watch whether bitcoin keeps drawing capital this week as altcoin ETF demand cools.

Blackrock Leads Bitcoin ETF Comeback With $115M IBIT Inflow

The balance of power shifted back toward bitcoin on Wednesday, Sept. 2.

After slipping into redemptions a day earlier, U.S. bitcoin ETFs attracted $101.15 million in fresh capital. Blackrock’s IBIT drove the rebound with a $115.45 million inflow, while Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust added $30.42 million.

Morgan Stanley’s MSBT brought in $7.30 million, and Bitwise’s BITB added $4.19 million. Grayscale’s GBTC moved the other way, losing $56.21 million. Even with that exit, the group finished comfortably in positive territory. Daily trading value reached $1.73 billion, while net assets closed at $97.22 billion.

The return of inflows gives investors another signal to watch as bitcoin’s price remains closely tied to institutional demand and broader crypto market sentiment.

Ether Streak Breaks After 12 Positive Sessions

Ether ETFs ended a 12-day inflow run with $48.08 million in net outflows. Blackrock’s ETHB still attracted a sizable $52.91 million, while 21Shares’ TETH added $2.03 million. Those gains were overwhelmed by heavier redemptions elsewhere.

Blackrock’s ETHA lost $53.53 million. Fidelity’s FETH posted a $26.17 million outflow, and Grayscale’s ETHE shed another $23.49 million. Total trading value for ether ETFs came in at $622.17 million. Net assets finished at $15 billion.

The reversal marks a pause after nearly two weeks of steady demand, though flows across individual products remain active.

XRP and Solana ETFs Turn Negative

XRP ETFs recorded $7.20 million in net outflows, all of which came from Bitwise’s XRP fund. Trading value reached $27.22 million, while net assets ended the day at $1.42 billion.

The move gives traders another data point to weigh alongside the XRP price, especially as ETF activity becomes a more visible measure of investor positioning.

Solana ETFs also finished lower, posting $6.13 million in outflows. The entire exit came from Bitwise’s BSOL. Trading value reached $61.49 million, with net assets closing at $1.38 billion.

HYPE ETFs saw no net flows, while net assets stood at $449.76 million.

Market commentary from River, a prominent bitcoin investment company, also pointed to a broader shift in Wall Street’s approach to bitcoin. The observation centered on growing institutional acceptance and the fact that 29 of the top 30 U.S. Registered Investment Advisors now hold bitcoin, even though median allocations remain modest.

Wednesday’s flows reflected that split clearly: Bitcoin regained momentum, while the rest of the crypto ETF market cooled.
