XRP(XRP) has recovered above $1.40 after sliding from $1.70, while analyst EGRAG <a href="https://xpertsstudio.com/zec-crypto-breaks-1000-enters-top-10-as-volume-jumps-173/” title=”ZEC crypto breaks $1,000, enters top 10 as volume jumps 173%”>CRYPTO says a breakout could eventually send it toward $2.70.
Key Points:
- XRP rebounded above $1.40 after falling to roughly $1.33 from its mid-August peak near $1.70.
- Spot trading activity reached its highest level since February, while XRP-linked funds recently posted their strongest weekly inflows of 2026.
- EGRAG sees $1.50 and $1.60 as the immediate resistance levels before $2.00 and a possible $2.70 target.
XRP Resistance
XRP’s mid-August rally stalled at $1.70 before a sharp correction carried the token to about $1.33 in just over a week. Buyers then pushed XRP back above $1.40, keeping the latest recovery intact.
The rebound came with a sharp increase in spot trading, which reached its highest level since February in late August.
Binance handled nearly $7.3 billion in XRP trades, followed by Upbit at about $4.7 billion and Bithumb at $2.6 billion.
Demand also appeared in XRP-linked investment products, which attracted more than $110 million during their best week of 2026 at the end of August. Cumulative net inflows reached a record $1.66 billion, while the funds remained positive for a second straight month despite slower inflows last week.
EGRAG Rally Case
EGRAG said XRP is trying to form a bullish continuation pattern after recovering from the drop between $1.70 and $1.33. His scenario depends on buyers reclaiming resistance that has repeatedly limited earlier breakout attempts.
The first major test sits at $1.50, followed by $1.60, and EGRAG said daily closes above both could open a move toward the psychological $2.00 level. If momentum fails, the $1.25 to $1.30 area remains the nearby support zone after holding during the latest decline.
A successful breakout could put $2.70 in view, representing roughly a 100% advance from the recent lows under EGRAG’s scenario. Recent ETF demand and accumulation by large holders support the bullish case, but neither guarantees that the target will be reached.
XRP’s latest setup follows a volatile stretch that began with its mid-August advance toward $1.70 and quickly reversed into a drop near $1.33. The subsequent rebound above $1.40 leaves the token between established support below and several resistance levels that still need to be cleared.
