Tom Lee, chairman of BitMine, said about 20% of the Russell 1000’s top gainers in the third quarter are crypto-linked stocks.
In a post on X on Sept. 4, Lee said BitMine has surged 99% since the start of the third quarter, ranking fourth among Russell 1000 constituents.
Strategy has gained 67%, placing 12th. Circle is up 65%, ranking 14th, while Bullish has climbed 55% to 21st place. With about a month left before the end of the third quarter, crypto-linked stocks posting strong returns could become investors’ next area of focus, he wrote.
The Russell 1000 is a stock index composed of the 1,000 largest companies by market capitalization in the U.S. stock market.
