Ripple (CRYPTO:XRP) closed its first debt offering on August 18, with an upsized $275 million private placement of senior unsecured notes issued through its prime brokerage arm, Ripple Prime.

In XRP news today, Ripple fell as low as $0.99 during the August 12 session, slipping below $1 for the first time since November 2024. The token first crossed $1 on Nov. 16, 2024, before reaching a peak of $3.42 in July 2025. The broader crypto market downturn has since erased much of that advance.
