Arbitrum (ARB) climbed 12.39% to $0.1513 as the rest of the <a href="https://xpertsstudio.com/gatetoken-declines-3-45-amid-broad-crypto-market-pullback-top-stories/” title=”GateToken Declines 3.45% Amid Broad Crypto Market Pullback | Top Stories”>crypto market fell, after Standard Chartered initiated coverage of the token with a $10 price target for the end of 2030.
The bank pegged that gain at roughly 70 times from $0.14. Measured from Wednesday’s price, ARB would need to gain about 66 times from here to reach it.
Arbitrum Climbs as Clarity Act Failure Drags Markets Down
Almost nothing else is green. Total crypto market capitalization dropped 6.26% to $2.60 trillion over 24 hours.
Bitcoin (BTC) slid to $75,856 while XRP (XRP) lost 9.36%. The sell-off followed the Senate’s 49-50 rejection of a motion to invoke cloture on the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. The bill needed 60 votes.
Arbitrum, however, has been trading on its own catalyst since Robinhood Chain went live on July 1, with earlier gains tracking record network fees.
Robinhood Chain Turned Arbitrum Into a Revenue Story
Geoff Kendrick, Standard Chartered’s global head of digital assets research, describes Arbitrum as an enterprise-grade infrastructure platform for TradFi firms moving on-chain. Arbitrum collects a rolling 10% of net protocol revenue from chains built on its stack.
Robinhood Chain is the test case. Kendrick estimates Arbitrum will take in around $5 million in September, roughly 5 times its monthly revenue before the July launch. Its previous record was $4.4 million in October 2025.
He expects tokenized equities to grow from about $3 billion now to $750 billion by the end of 2028. His ARB path runs through $0.50 this year, $1.50 in 2027, and $3.50 in 2028.
“This would far outperform our projected price growth for ETH and BTC over our forecast horizon,” the note read.
Kendrick also flags the hole in the thesis. ARB carries governance rights but no burn and no direct claim on that revenue, a structure he likens to Aave (AAVE) and Chainlink (LINK). A buyback becomes more likely as the ecosystem matures, he wrote.
Supply is the counterweight. About 92.3% of the maximum supply of 10 billion has vested, with the final tranche due in March 2027.
