- The Solana decentralized application ecosystem generated $143.23 million in revenue during August.
- The Pump.fun platform contributed approximately $58.2 million, accounting for more than 40% of the total captured by the network.
- The network processed 5.2 billion non-vote transactions during the month, registering a new all-time monthly high.
Solana app revenues reached $143.23 million throughout August, marking a significant monthly rebound. This figure cemented a 38.1% market share of the $375.53 million collected across all blockchains analyzed by DefiLlama.
This performance represented a nearly 73% increase compared to the$82.9 millioncollected in July. Total volume placed the network ahead of its primary direct competitors in terms of fee volume generated by dApps.
During August’s 31 days,Hyperliquid L1took second place in the sector with $55.6 million in revenue. For its part, theEthereum networkadded $47.1 million, andBNB Smart Chainbrought in $34.7 million. An industryed to surpass the absolute figure
Internal capital distribution showed a strong reliance on one specific protocol. The memecoin issuance and trading platformPump.fun contributed $58.2 million, capturing 40.6% of the total application layer monetization.
DefiLlama data suggests other trading tools maintained steady activity on the network. TheAxiom tradingterminal ranked second in the ecosystem with nearly $24 million in monthly revenue. Additionally, theFOMOplatform added $14.6 million,Collector Cryptcontributed $9.7 million, thePhantom walletaccumulated $6.6 million, and decentralized aggregator Jupiter recorded $6.2 million.
Liquidity Concentration and Technical Network Performance
Operationally, the monthly record was tied to an intensification of smart contract traffic. Solana processed 5.2 billion non-vote transactions throughout August. This metric excludes internal consensus communications to measure only transfers, contract calls, mints, and user operations on the ledger.
Technical documentation for the protocol indicates that transactional throughput maintained uninterrupted service availability during peak daily demand.
Since its official launch in January 2024,Pump.fun has accumulated over $1.259 billionin cumulative gross revenue. The firm implements a supply burn program that channels roughly half of its net profits into recurring buybacks of its native token on the secondary market.
August’s performance extended a streak positioning the network as the decentralized application revenue leader for nine consecutive quarters, after closing Q2 2026 with $257 million billed.Regarding the technical roadmap, ecosystem developers have scheduled additional performance tests and consensus audits during the first weeks of September to monitor node stability amid the ongoing influx of retail transactions.
