Azerbaijan, September 15. More than 8,000
people have received Web3-related training in Kazakhstan over the
past year, Head of the Solana Superteam KZ corporate foundation
Talgat Dossanov said at a government meeting
This was <a href="https://xpertsstudio.com/the-coinex-cryptocurrency-exchange-has-announced-its-closure/” title=”The CoinEx cryptocurrency exchange has announced its closure”>announced by the government’s press service.
According to him, over 2,000 people received certificates. One
in five certified graduates represents a government agency. The
training covers blockchain fundamentals and development on Solana,
practical assignments and preparation of teams for international
hackathons.
He noted that Kazakhstan also provided grants to 57 local
technology startups totaling 121 million tenge ($270,672). At the
same time, the country ranked among the top 10 countries globally
by the number of applications submitted to Solana’s international
hackathons, Dosanov said.
Dossanov said that Kazakhstan also hosted the international
Solana Summit series. Kazakhstan was the first of 25 countries
where the Solana ecosystem is officially represented to host such
an international series. The summit brought together more than 900
participants from over 30 countries, while its broadcast through
Solana’s social media channels reached an audience of 4 million
people.
He noted that blockchain-based financial infrastructure is also
developing in Kazakhstan. In cooperation with the Kazakhstan Stock
Exchange (KASE), the country’s first SOLZ_KZ ETF was launched on
the Solana public blockchain. On June 11, 2026, Alatau City and the
Solana Foundation signed a memorandum in Hong Kong providing for
further cooperation.
Kazakhstan remains the only country in the Commonwealth of
Independent States and Central Asia with an official Solana
representation, Dossanov said. The ecosystem’s activities in
Kazakhstan focus on three main areas: personnel training, startup
support and promoting Kazakhstan within the global blockchain
community.
