Altcoin-season expectations are strengthening after smaller cryptocurrencies posted their sharpest weekly rebound in months, yet the market still lacks confirmation of a broad rotation. Analyst Ash Crypto noted that the market capitalization of cryptocurrencies outside the top 10 jumped roughly 23% last week, highlighting a sharp improvement in risk appetite.
That momentum was also visible across broader market gauges. TradingView’s OTHERS index gained about 19% over seven days on Aug. 26, while TOTAL3, which excludes Bitcoin and Ether, advanced roughly 15%.
