Zcash said it plans to implement the NU7 network upgrade on Nov. 6. The upgrade is set to reduce block generation time to 25 seconds from 75 seconds and more than double shielded transaction throughput.
Zcash also urged wallet updates. Vizor said it has completed preparations for NU7 support and users should use the latest version.
