Zcash privacy transactions now supported on select Ledger devices

Zcash wallet Vizor has successfully signed shielded transactions, privacy transactions that conceal transaction details, using Ledger hardware wallets, Crypto Briefing reported.

The integration allows users to keep ZEC private keys offline on Ledger devices while sending transactions without disclosing amounts or addresses. After installing a dedicated app on a Ledger device, users can connect it to an external wallet such as Vizor, with Ledger handling transaction signing and Vizor managing accounts and transaction creation. The feature is currently supported on select Ledger devices.
