As of the morning of Oct. 5, aggregated futures positions across about 200 whale accounts holding more than $3 million in assets showed short positions outweighing longs in both BTC and ETH, Odaily reported. BTC long positions stood at about $518 million, versus about $830 million in short positions, for a short-to-long ratio of 0.62. ETH also showed about $687 million in longs and about $1.05 billion in shorts, for a short-to-long ratio of 0.65.
