A Trump-themed memecoin on Solana, Trump Digital Gold (GOLD), saw its market capitalization plunge more than 95% in one minute to around $1.8 million, according to GMGN market data.
The token was launched through X account @realtrumpcoins1, an official partner of the Trump Organization that sells related collectible coins and medals. With no further details disclosed, suspicions are growing that the account may have been hacked and used to promote a fake coin.
