NFT marketplace Talis said on its official X account that it was hacked on the Injective network, resulting in the theft of about 5,700 NFTs. According to the project, the attacker exploited a vulnerability in Talis’ marketplace and auction smart contracts on Oct. 31, took NFTs listed for sale or auction, and then sold them into existing buy orders.
Talis said it has halted new sale listings and auctions on Injective and returned more than 26,000 NFTs held in the contracts to their owners. As a precaution, it has also temporarily suspended new sale listings and auctions on other networks. The project added that a review is underway before the deployment of revised contracts, and it is working on measures to return the stolen NFTs to their original owners and compensate buyers for losses. Talis also said it plans to disclose a list of the affected NFTs.
