London-based stablecoin payments infrastructure startup Velocity raised an additional $10 million in a funding round backed by Visa, Circle and Ripple, CoinDesk reported. The new capital brings its Series A total to $48 million, and the company was valued at $200 million following the round. Velocity provides infrastructure that lets banks and payments companies use stablecoins for settlement and treasury management while keeping their existing systems in place.
