South Korea’s Financial Supervisory Service will strengthen monitoring of suspicious trading in virtual assets, or digital assets, by expanding the types of activity subject to preventive measures to include spoofing, concentrated trading and excessive order revisions, according to Digital Asset.
In material on consumer protection performance and policy tasks released today, the regulator said the digital asset market is particularly vulnerable to unfair trading practices amid market-specific price distortions and high volatility, making stronger user protection measures necessary.
