Seven people, including three Canadian soldiers, were arrested in Canada in connection with the kidnapping of a man in an alleged attempt to steal cryptocurrency, CTV News reported. The suspects are accused of kidnapping the victim in Toronto in July, handcuffing and assaulting him, and trying to take his crypto. Police brought a total of 82 charges against the seven suspects, including kidnapping, illegal firearm possession and possession for the purpose of drug trafficking. Two of the arrested soldiers belonged to the same reserve artillery regiment, and both have been removed from military duties. Canadian military police are also investigating the case.
