Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said regulatory uncertainty around tokenization in the U.S. could limit the entry of large-scale assets into the market, Cointelegraph reported. During the company’s third-quarter earnings call, Tenev said the U.S. SEC’s temporary exemption for security tokens was a positive step, but added clients may hesitate to commit large amounts of capital because it is difficult to predict how the regulatory environment will evolve over the next five years. Tenev said additional rulemaking or legislation is needed to secure long-term regulatory stability.
