Ondo Finance sought a sale at some point after founder Nathan Allman died on May 25, according to a CoinDesk report citing industry sources. The identities of those behind the sale effort were not disclosed, and the plan appears to have been put on hold amid a corporate control dispute.
In early August, Allman’s family sued Ondo interim CEO Ian De Bode, alleging he had illegally secured power and financial gain, triggering a management control battle at the company. Ondo denied the claim, saying, “매각 추진은 사실이 아니다.”
