Stacks founder Muneeb Ali has returned as CEO and outlined five priorities for his first 30 days, including expanding institutional business development and shortening the time from initial interest to launch for Bitcoin bonds amid rising demand.
Ali said speed would be critical and that the company would move with startup-like urgency. Ali also said the leadership structure would be simplified, with the CEO delegating authority to key talent while clearly defining which decisions Ali would make directly and setting up a process to hear a range of views before making decisions quickly. Ali plans to unveil a two-year roadmap showing how institutional-grade Bitcoin privacy and quantum-resistant technology fit into Stacks’ strategy beyond Bitcoin capital markets. Ali also plans one-on-one meetings with large STX holders to share Stacks’ latest strategy and progress, and to hold the first public holder update call within 30 days.
