MoonPay, a global crypto payments and stablecoin infrastructure company, is strengthening its South Korea strategy to expand its footing in the country’s digital asset market. According to Dailian, the company said it hired Choi Han-gyeol, former vice president of Streami, the operator of South Korean won-based crypto exchange GOPAX, as vice president of strategy at MoonPay Korea. Choi will oversee MoonPay Korea’s mid- to long-term growth strategy and business development.
