Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich said the Bitcoin network continues to operate normally despite the Binance hack. In a post on X, Gerovich said the network has processed every block normally since its 2009 launch and is functioning as designed in this case as well, adding that all of Metaplanet’s BTC holdings are stored in cold wallets with regulated professional custodians.
