CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju said on X that Bitcoin analysts are bullish while gold analysts are bearish.
According to the CryptoQuant analyst consensus index he shared, as of Oct. 15, the outlook among BTC analysts stood at +1.3σ, signaling bullishness, while the outlook among gold analysts was -1.2σ, indicating bearishness. Sigma refers to standard deviation, and the index shows the overall market outlook of each analyst group. A positive reading means analysts are more optimistic than usual, while a negative reading means they are more pessimistic than usual. BTC analysts see accumulation and the defense of support levels as signs the market may have bottomed in this cycle. By contrast, gold analysts cited a break below the $4,318 support level and dollar strength as bearish factors.
