KB Kookmin Card said on Sept. 21 it joined Mastercard’s Global Asset Collaboration Program, or CPP, and plans to conduct technical verification with Mastercard on building stablecoin payment infrastructure, ZDNet Korea reported. The company will test payment technologies including linking its KB Pay service with the blockchain wallet of global crypto exchange Coinbase to enable approval, settlement, cancellations and refunds in stablecoins.
