A court at Kazakhstan’s Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) has barred six crypto platforms, including Coinbase and HTX, from offering unlicensed digital-asset services within the AIFC’s jurisdiction and ordered access to the platforms to be restricted through the Google and Apple app stores, Cointelegraph reported.
According to a statement released today by the AIFC’s Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA), the court issued the injunction on Sept. 15 against BingX, Bitcoin.com, HTX, BitMart, Coinbase, LBank and WEEX. LBank was later removed from the ban list on Sept. 18 after its operator blocked access from Kazakhstan.
