Injective co-founder and CEO Eric Chen said in an interview with The Block that a U.S. spot INJ ETF could launch much earlier than 2027, although Chen did not provide a specific timeline.
Two applications are currently pending before the U.S. SEC: the 21Shares Injective ETF and the Canary Staked INJ ETF. The two asset managers filed amended S-1 registration statements in September. Chen also said Injective is pursuing additional licenses in the United States. Injective Institutional Services obtained SEC-registered transfer agent status in August.
