Ethereum Foundation researcher Antonio Sanso said Daisugi v0.3 successfully verified 20 quantum-resistant digital signatures bundled into a single proof. Daisugi is an Ethereum-compatible test network for experimenting with quantum-resistant signature technology.
The experiment used the quantum-resistant signature technology LeanSPHINCS and the virtual machine LeanVM. The setup verified 20 LeanSPHINCS signatures in LeanVM and represented their validity in a single proof. To verify that proof on an Ethereum execution-layer client, a LeanVM verifier and a guest program for LeanSPHINCS are required.
