    Ethereum research and development nonprofit Ethlabs said Ethereum co-founder Mihai Alisie has joined as a major early backer. Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, and Gattaca also joined as contributors, along with 19 additional new backers from the Ethereum community. Ethlabs did not disclose the size of the new funding or specific fundraising targets.
