USDC issuer Circle plans to expand into around 50 emerging and developing markets as demand for stablecoin payments rises, CoinDesk reported, citing Reuters.
Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire said stablecoin use by businesses and individuals is increasing rapidly in Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, adding blockchain technology is moving beyond the early adoption stage and into mainstream use.
