The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission has submitted a new proposal to regulate crypto trading and markets to the White House, Bloomberg reported. According to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs under the White House Office of Management and Budget, the proposal was received on Sept. 17 and is now under review. Separately, Hyperliquid Policy Center CEO Jake Chervinsky said on X, “CFTC is moving quickly. It just sent what appears to be a proposed rule to interagency review.”
