The amount of ZEC bridged to Solana reached a record of about 103,000 tokens, worth roughly $124 million as of late October, with most of the supply coming through NEAR’s OmniBridge, Crypto Briefing reported.
ZEC supply on Solana rose from about 86,643 in May to 97,942 in mid-September before setting a new high this time. The record was based on token count, however, and its U.S. dollar value was lower than in mid-September, when it stood at about $132 million.
The number of addresses holding ZEC issued through OmniBridge climbed about ninefold, from roughly 17,000 in late June to more than 152,000 by late October. As of mid-September, about 79% of spot DEX trading volume in ZEC across all blockchains took place on Solana. ZEC bridged to Solana does not provide privacy-preserving features, meaning balances and transaction histories are visible.
