Bitcoin Suisse plans to cut up to 50% of its Switzerland-based workforce as part of a broader international expansion strategy, Crypto Briefing reported. Up to 60 employees are affected, mainly in office, administrative, and software development roles.
Those functions are set to be consolidated into an existing hub in Bratislava and a newly established development center in Vietnam. The company’s IT office in Copenhagen will also close.
Bitcoin Suisse said the move is not a response to Bitcoin price volatility or financial difficulties, but part of a long-term shift from a Switzerland-centered business to a broader international financial services platform.
