Balancer requested the return of $234,000 stolen in a recent attack that exploited a calculation error in a V1 BPool.
Balancer said it would offer a bug bounty in exchange for the return of the stolen funds and would refrain from legal action if certain conditions are met. The protocol warned that if it receives no response by 5:00 p.m. UTC on Sept. 9, it plans to pursue technical, on-chain, and legal measures to track the hacker.
