Aave said it has restricted new tBTC deposits and new borrowing against tBTC as a regular preventive measure tied to a tBTC maintenance update. Aave added that its smart contracts were not affected and existing positions remained unchanged, while users can continue to repay and withdraw as usual. New tBTC deposits and borrowing against tBTC will resume once the maintenance is completed.
