a16z cuts over half of startup hiring support team, shifts staff to crypto unit

Andreessen Horowitz, or a16z, has cut more than half of the staff in the unit that supported hiring at its portfolio companies, Axios reported. Remaining employees will be reassigned to specialized investment divisions, including crypto, as the firm shifts to a structure in which each division runs its own hiring support organization.
