A total of 82 projects across DeFi, blockchain infrastructure, gaming and other sectors have shut down services this year following a crypto market collapse, Cointelegraph reported.
According to data from crypto researcher Stacy Muur, services ending this year include Balancer, Radiant Capital, Neon EVM and Step Finance. The closures came after a prolonged bear market in which Bitcoin fell below $60,000 earlier this year after reaching a peak above $126,000 in October 2025. The downturn added to financial pressure on projects that were already struggling to attract users and generate revenue.
