Ethereum’s ‘Netflix Moment’ Could Send ETH To $10K By 2029 As Bitcoin Eyes $81K

- Ted Pillows called for $10,000 Ethereum by 2029 and superimposed Ethereum’s monthly chart on Netflix’s 2003–2011 run, placing Ethereum at the corresponding breakout point.
- According to Michaël van de Poppe, Ethereum made its sweep and quickly recovered to be on pace with Bitcoin.
- He suggested that another run at the highs is imminent. If the lows are swept again, he plans to enter at $2,200.
Crypto analyst Ted Pillows said Ethereum (ETH) was having its “Netflix (NFLX) moment” and called for $10,000 Ethereum by 2029, while Michaël van de Poppe argued Bitcoin (BTC) was headed towards $81,000.
On Sunday, Pillows posted a side-by-side of Netflix’s monthly chart from 2003 to 2011 against Ethereum from 2019 onward, marking the point where Netflix broke above a multi-year range and reclaimed its rising trendline. He placed Ethereum at the equivalent juncture on its own chart.

Ethereum’s price was trading above $2,400 over the past 24 hours. On Stocktwits, the retail sentiment around ETH remained in the ‘extremely bullish’ zone, while chatter around it stayed at ‘high’ levels over the past day.
ETH Swept And Recovered
Additionally, Van de Poppe, Founder and CIO of MNFund, said on Sunday that Ethereum “did make the sweep and immediately climbs back up,” and that the move was on par with Bitcoin, making another run toward the highs more likely in the coming days. If Ethereum sweeps the lows again, he said, he would look at entries around $2,200.

Bitcoin’s Two Paths
That pairing linked his Ethereum view to his Bitcoin call. Van de Poppe said there were “pretty much two options” for Bitcoin from here. In the first case, Bitcoin clears the lower time frame (LTF) resistance and reaches $81,000 in the coming days. In the second, it rejects, sweeps down to $74,000, then reaches $81,000 later in the week.

Bitcoin’s price was up by 0.3%, trading at $77,285, during the past 24 hours. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment around BTC remained in the ‘extremely bullish’ zone, while chatter stayed at ‘extremely high’ levels over the past day.
Altcoins Still Flat
Van de Poppe also commented on altcoins, saying that they “haven’t seen any moves at all,” pointing to the Solana (SOL)-BTC pair as having “barely started an uptrend.” He flagged Solana flipping a level and breaking its 21-day moving average, describing the setup as a period for buying the dip.

Solana’s price was also up over 2% during the past 24 hours. On Stocktwits, the retail sentiment around BTC remained in the ‘extremely bullish’ zone, while chatter around it stayed at ‘high’ levels over the past day.
