Forecast Trend Report by Period
Digital X, Mirae Asset’s digital-asset investment platform, said on September 16 that it has completed changing its service name from Korbit to Digital X. The move follows the company’s corporate name change to Digital X Co. in August.
As part of the revamp, the official domain will also change. User-facing touchpoints, including the app icon and brand identity, will also be unified under the Digital X brand.
The service name change will not affect users’ held assets or transaction records. Deposit and withdrawal functions and trading methods will remain unchanged, while the existing app will transition to the new service through an update.
Digital X also urged users to be cautious about possible phishing attempts exploiting the service name and domain changes. Related guidance will be provided sequentially through its official channels.
Chief Executive Officer Oh Se-jin said the revamp is not merely a service-name change, but the start of a new leap forward with Mirae Asset Group. Based on its principle of protecting customer assets, which it has upheld as South Korea’s first exchange, the company plans to introduce products and services in stages that can deliver tangible value to users.
