Cryptocurrency exchange Huobi $HTX has launched perpetual futures contracts for three new assets. According to the exchange’s official announcement on September 11th, CIFR/$USDT, APD/$USDT, and ASX/$USDT perpetual futures contracts are now available for trading on the platform.
Under the new contracts, users will be able to open both long and short positions in these assets. Huobi $HTX allows leverage between 1x and 20x in trades. The addition of new futures products stands out as part of Huobi $HTX’s strategy to expand its derivatives portfolio. Perpetual futures contracts are among the most frequently used derivatives in the cryptocurrency markets due to their lack of a fixed expiration date.
The exchange also announced that it has launched a special trading competition in parallel with the launch of the new contracts. The campaign started on September 11 and will continue until 3:00 PM on September 15.
Users wishing to participate in the event must first complete the registration process and then trade in futures contracts for the assets included in the campaign. Users who meet the specified trading conditions and thresholds will have the opportunity to share in the prize pool of a total of 1 billion $HTX tokens.
Huobi $HTX stated that the rewards under the campaign will be distributed among users who meet the specified participation and trading criteria. Trading volume and user interest in the new contracts are expected to be monitored in the coming days.
