US spot Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) had their strongest combined week since October 2025, drawing $2.6 billion in net inflows as both assets posted sharp weekly price gains
The result reversed a combined $392 million outflow from the previous week, a swing of roughly $3 billion in seven days. It also more than doubled the $1.1 billion combined inflow recorded during the week ending Aug. 7, which had been the strongest result for both categories since April.
Bitcoin Funds Record $1.9B in Weekly Inflows
Spot BTCETFs drew $1.9 billion for the week, their largest weekly total since the week ending Oct. 10, 2025, when they attracted$2.7 billion. Cumulative net inflows into US Bitcoin ETFs since launch reached $53.7 billion. Trading volume surged to $22.1 billion from $6.9 billion the prior week, a gain of more than 219%. Net assets under management rose 25.4% to $96.1 billion from $76.6 billion, reflecting both fresh cash and BTC’s price appreciation.
The bulk of the week’s buying was concentrated on Wednesday and Thursday. BTC ETFs drew $517.2 million on Wednesday, their largest single-day inflow since May 4. Thursday added $606.3 million. BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for $503 million of Thursday’s total alone.
Spot ETHETFs attracted $697.2 million for the week, their strongest result since the week ending Oct. 3, 2025, when they pulledin nearly $1.3 billion. The week prior had seen a $2.3 million net outflow for ETH funds. Cumulative net inflows since launch now stand at $12.2 billion. Weekly trading volume rose to $6.9 billion from $1.9 billion, a gain of 259.4%, and net assets climbed 35.9% to $14.3 billion from $10.5 billion.

Year-to-Date Deficit Shrinks but Holds
ETH ETF net assets now exceed cumulative net inflows by approximately $2.1 billion. Two weeks earlier, assets sat roughly $711 million below that threshold. The reversal reflects ETH’s price gains over the period alongside the fresh inflows coming in during the week.
The funds’ 2026 losses narrowed but did not disappear. BTC ETFsremain down approximately $2.9 billion in net outflows for the year. ETH ETFs are down about $191.8 million year-to-date. Together, the two categories reduced their combined year-to-date shortfall from $5.7 billion to $3.1 billion after the week’s inflows.
BTC briefly traded above $79,000 on Friday, its largest weekly gain in two years, with BTC and ETH both rising between 24% and 28% for the week. BTC was trading near $77,200 on Saturday afternoon, while ETH changed hands at approximately $2,423.
