The donation was made through Binance Charity, the company’s blockchain-based philanthropic arm, and is aimed at providing critical aid to communities affected by the devastating floods.

Goonj, an India-based nonprofit known for its grassroots disaster relief and rehabilitation work, will channel the funds toward immediate needs such as food, clothing, and medical supplies for flood-hit regions in Assam. The state has faced annual monsoon flooding, displacing millions and causing significant human and economic losses.
