Monero’s network hash rate reached about 7.12 GH/s as of Oct. 26, approaching a record high, Bitcoin.com reported. The figure remained slightly below the all-time peak of 7.54 GH/s set earlier this year. XMR has risen about 70% over the past year and about 37% since the start of the year. Bitcoin.com said the price gains appear to have improved mining profitability and encouraged more miners to participate.
