Users of Telegram-based crypto trading bot BloomTrading suffered about $950,000 in losses after a wallet compromise, with 9,408 SOL drained from about 48 to 49 wallets, Crypto Briefing reported.
Bloom said it is investigating the incident, including the possibility of a breach involving a third-party system, and has temporarily suspended some services. The company also said it plans to compensate affected users by sending funds to newly created secure wallets.
BloomTrading is a Telegram-based trade automation tool that supports Solana and EVM-compatible blockchains. The platform uses a custodial structure in which it generates and manages users’ private keys, raising concerns that user assets could be exposed if the platform’s infrastructure or related accounts are compromised.
