Crypto exchange Bitget said a hacking incident at TiDB Cloud, a cloud database service it previously used, did not result in any leak of user information. According to BlockBeats, Bitget Greater China head Xie Jiayin said on Oct. 20 a hacker breached PingCAP’s TiDB Cloud and stole data. Xie said Bitget had stored only some public trade execution records on the service in the past and stopped using it more than two months ago. No Bitget user data, passwords, or other sensitive information were exposed in the incident, Xie added.
